Capacity by mode

Three jobs, three ratings

Cabinet Pro climbs, rolls and lifts. Each mode has its own limit, and the lifting attachment sets the ceiling for install work.

Stair mode

380 lbs

Up to 1,500 steps per charge · two speeds, up to 29 steps per minute · max step height 8.27”

Lift mode

265 lbs

Raised up to 43.3” on a 23.25” × 14.75” stainless plate, for setting uppers and positioning casework

Handtruck mode

660 lbs

Rolling on flat ground between the truck, the stairs and the room, with front casters for fine positioning

Lift mode is limited by the Universal Lifting Attachment (265 lbs). Cabinet Pro is built only on the 170 model, the class that carries the attachment’s weight.

Built for the install crew

Every part has a job

Ten details that matter when the load is a finished cabinet and the stairs are already done.

LiftKar Cabinet Pro with a cabinet on the lifting attachment

01

Universal Lifting Attachment

Raises up to 265 lbs to 43.3” so the cabinet sits at install height while the crew levels and fastens it.

02

Stainless steel plate

23.25” × 14.75”, sized for base and wall cabinets. Compatible with S and G toe plates.

03

Two climbing speeds

Up to 29 steps per minute. Slow down for tight turns and finished treads, speed up on long straight runs.

04

Detachable lithium battery

Up to 1,500 steps per charge and a two- to three-hour recharge. Swap it out and keep working.

05

Overload protection

Built-in protection for the drive when a load is beyond the machine’s rating.

06

Integrated step light

Lights the next step in unfinished or low-light stairwells.

07

Curved stairs and tight landings

The SAL Pro frame turns on narrow landings and handles curved staircases.

08

Puncture-proof tires

10.3” wheels that won’t go flat on screws, nails and jobsite debris.

09

Non-marking wheels and front casters

Lifting wheels protect finished stairs; front casters help with fine positioning at the wall.

10

Loop or pistol grip

Pick the grip your crew prefers. The pistol grip adds knuckle protectors.

Included with every machine: detachable lithium-ion battery, charger with US plug, Universal Lifting Attachment, puncture-proof tires, 55” safety strap and a two-year manufacturer’s warranty. Optional: folding platform, branding billboard.

Is Cabinet Pro the right LiftKar?

If the job ends at the top of the stairs, a standard climber will do. If the cabinet has to go up the wall too, that’s Cabinet Pro.

Stairs only, no lift

LiftKar SAL Pro

Base cabinets, appliances, furniture — loads that stay on the floor.

The same climber without the lifting attachment, so it’s lighter to load and carry. Up to 380 lbs on stairs.

What customers say

“There’s no other tool like the SANO hand truck that has the stair climbing capabilities and the lifting system on it. You’re able to accomplish basically twice as much work.”

Common questions

Before you ask for a quote

What stairs can it climb?

Straight stairs, stairs with landings and curved staircases, up to an 8.27” step height. It turns on narrow landings, and the non-marking lifting wheels protect finished treads. Send us a photo of an unusual staircase and we’ll confirm.

How high does it lift, and how much?

The Universal Lifting Attachment raises up to 265 lbs to 43.3” (1,100 mm) on a 23.25” × 14.75” stainless plate. On stairs the machine carries up to 380 lbs, and 660 lbs as a handtruck on flat ground.

What comes in the box?

The SAL Pro UNI 170, the Universal Lifting Attachment, puncture-proof tires, a detachable lithium-ion battery, a charger with US plug, a 55” safety strap and the two-year manufacturer’s warranty. The folding platform and branding billboard are optional.

Can a safety grant pay for it?

Often, yes. Many state workers’ compensation programs — Ohio BWC’s Safety Intervention Grant is one — fund equipment that removes manual lifting on stairs and at height. We’ll supply the quote and the justification paperwork your application needs.

Ask about grant funding

Why only the 170 model?

The lifting attachment adds about 47.6 lbs to the machine. The 170 is the SAL Pro class built to carry that weight and still lift a full cabinet, so every Cabinet Pro is built on it.

Do you sell through dealers?

Yes. You can buy direct from this site, or through an authorized SANO dealer. If you move equipment for a living and want to carry the line, we have a dealer program.
